I have a pretty standard setup for pyxll on Windows 7 with Excel 2013 32bit.
Python 2.7.9 (32 bit standard build for Windows).
When I start Excel I get the standard PyXLL evaluation screen (which confirms the successful load of the pyxll.xll module) however there is no pyxll menus nor the add-ins menu option nor any of the xl functions defined in the example modules are available in Excel.
I've attached both the PYXLL_DEBUG_LOG as well as the pyxll log.
As you can see in the log(s) all excel functions defined in the example modules are loaded without errors though none of them is available in Excel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

your evaluation license seems to have expired (check the last line of the log file). The pop-up that you mention should also say that's the case. Once the evaluation period has expired the addin is disabled, which is why your functions and menu items aren't appearing.

You should contact Enthought and they will be able to assist you by extending you evaluation license or helping you purchase a license. Here's the link to their contact form: https://www.enthought.com/contact/.

Best regards,
Tony
